WOC (WLAN over CATV) is a WLAN network based on CATV system. WOC is to achieve high-quality WLAN signal coverage in the room through the existing CATV cable TV system, providing reliable and truly usable high-speed wireless network.
WOC using cable TV system transmission 802.11b/g/n wireless network, 1 AP can cover eight or more rooms (general industrial ap can support 15 rooms), can for hotel rooms or family to achieve other technology or solutions of high quality wireless signal coverage, breakthrough from wireless physical layer completely solved the current all hotel wireless system face the problem of common frequency interference, makes the wireless network connection is reliable, realize high-speed Internet access.
WOC access network scheme From the perspective of transmission, WOC is an antenna extension system of 802.11b/g/n wireless network. AP is centrally installed in the corridor or home information box, where WLAN and CATV signals are mixed and input to the existing CATV line. CTV line coaxial cable is directly transmitted to each room under full shielding without interference. Finally, the signal is separated by WC user panel to realize the high quality, non-interference wireless network coverage and TV function in the room. Due to the different working frequency bands, WLAN and CATV signals do not interfere with each other. The successful cases of WOC in recent years also prove its practicality. The successful realization of WOC scheme will add wings to the expansion of network business.
█ Strong signal: wireless signal does not go through the wall, through the CATV line directly to the room, strong signal, uniform coverage, no dead Angle.
█ No interference: no interference of the system itself. The AP signal branches to 4-8 or more rooms, plus the loss of WOC hybrid distributor and the natural loss of CATV cable, the wireless signal through the user box antenna in the room will not be too strong and cause interference through other rooms; secondly, the AP signal is transmitted to the room through the fully shielded CAA line, effectively avoiding the interference of AP upstairs, downstairs and the same layer.
█ High network speed: because there is no same frequency interference problem, the overall wireless network speed can be greatly improved.
█ Wireless connection stability: connected to several rooms under the same AP effective work and management, there is no other AP signals intrusion, will not receive multiple AP signals in the same room, there will be no traditional coverage of intermittent, wireless network jump and other jump connection phenomenon.
█ Clear and effective wireless management: room wireless connection to the specified AP, wireless management effective and clear, easy to eliminate client problems.
█ Simple construction: there is no need to carry out troublesome site wireless survey and antenna planning, only need to replace the WOC equipment according to the CATV drawings, the construction is fast, effective and simple. WOC is compatible with all brand APs without changes to the existing coaxial cable network structure.
█ Low radiation: WOC is a passive antenna system, and the terminal radiation power is only a few tenth of the traditional coverage mode, far lower than the relevant national regulations, to ensure personal safety.
█ Does not affect CATV: WOC hybrid distributor and user box adopt high isolation duplex, the isolation degree is greater than 30dB, meet the cable TV standards, and does not affect the transmission of the existing CATV system.
